This year in Language Arts students will have the opportunity to read many books of their choice. As teachers, we will conference with students individually in regards to what they are reading and their book choices.  Each student has also set an individual reading goal that they are working towards.  Please ask your child about what they are reading and encourage them to read at home.

We will also meet with small groups an average of three times a week to work on specific skills that students may be struggling with.  We are also doing various reading exercises and progress monitoring in regards to creating more fluent readers.
